First “Checkboxen”
deployed in the city of Vienna!

The first mobile testing container “Chechbox” were deployed today Thursday, November 12 in Vienna. CHV set up the first Covid test containers in Vienna at the end of October. Rapid coronavirus testing is scheduled to be conducted here in early November. The first three testing station are scheduled to be deployed in Favoriten, Ottakring and Donaustadt.

By the end of November, additional Corona testing stations, called “checkboxes” by the city of Vienna, are said to be deployed throughout the city. Read more on Wien.orf.at.

The area on the Donauinsel offers six drive through lanes and three separate lanes for people arriving on foot. Testing stations are operated by the Austrian Samariterbund.

Coronavirus testing containers have two separate entrances each on the short side of the container and a wall partition in the middle. In these two areas of the container, nasal swabs for the test are taken, and in the other area with the cassette windows, the gentle alternative of the pharyngeal irrigation fluid test is dispensed.
